Not long after Mass Effect 3’s release, rumors of multiplayer DLC content hit the web and spread like wildfire. BioWare has now announced that a DLC pack for Mass Effect 3’s multiplayer is indeed on the way, in the wake of the Mass Effect 3 Extended Cut announcement.
Dubbed the Resurgence Pack, the new content will drop April 10th and wait for it, will cost nothing what-so-ever. The pack brings with it 6 new characters; Asari Justicar, Batarian Soldier and Sentinel, Krogan Battlemaster Vanguard, Geth Infilitrator and Geth Engineer. 3 new weapons and 2 new maps also make up the Resurgence Pack. The maps will be playable after the DLC is downloaded, while the new characters and weapons will be added to reinforcement packs to be unlocked.
