Potentially good news it seems for Playstation 3 gamers, as representatives from major credit card companies such as MasterCard, American Express and Well-Fargo have all confirmed that they “haven’t seen any unauthorised activity relating to Sony”.
The representatives speaking to Bloomberg, also said that so far, no unauthorized purchases have occurred from the credit card info that was compromised on the latest attack on the PSN which started on April 19.
Certainly some good news that Sony desperately needs, considering they are being targeted by a class action lawsuit and several government regulatory bodies are looking into the breach. Please keep in mind though that although they are saying there has been no suspicious activity now (for those companies at least) that doesn’t necessarily mean there won’t be over the next few weeks. Touch wood.
